DCP’s COVID-19 Response

In the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, fear and uncertainty among the general public required calm, clear, and compassionate communications from city government. See below how I developed a firm, clean-looking brand that included a logo, easy-to-read typography for social media and interactive PDFs, and a clear voice to build trust with our residents.
I also used this campaign to tell larger stories about the essential services DCP was able to deliver to customers (all while launching the old-school government body into a new virtual world practically overnight), From fast-tracking the opening of a new hospital, to using video inspections to keep the world’s busiest airport running and socially equitable housing construction on track, DCP’s work during the early days of the COVID-19 crisis—and this storytelling campaign about it—demonstrated the department’s value to our residents.
