WWII Exhibit Gallery

CONCEPT

I remember my fifth grade field trip to the Fulton County Teaching Museum: the dusty and outdated exhibit design left me and my classmates restless. When my K–12 alma mater offered me this opportunity, my goal was to design the exhibit my fifth-grade self would have enjoyed.

THEMES

- bright colors and bold typography that allude to wartime propaganda posters

- iconic historical photographs—printed large-scale in duotones with layers of depth

- an emphasis on young people and families to spark empathy in students
